Joint naming ceremony and first birthday

This gorgeous little boy had a joint first birthday and naming ceremony at a local park, assisted by 80 family members and friends. It was a lovely ceremony, carefully and thoughtfully planned by his parents. It was a “cheeky monkey” themed celebration, completed with a visit from Spiderman and ended by one of Queensland’s recent dramatic later afternoon thunderstorms.

The naming ceremony featured pledges of support and commitment from immediate family members and guardians

The very popular and much admired Spiderman!

Face-painting was one of the many activities. In this case, it was the first time the face-painter had attempted a monkey design, so she was assisted by not entirely thrilled mobile art stand
